Access to and use of the site awesometoolkit.com and its services implies full and unreserved acceptance of these Terms of Service.

If you do not accept these terms, please do not use the service. By creating an account or using AwesomeToolkit's tools, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms.

AwesomeToolkit is an online file conversion and compression platform. It offers in particular:

• Video file compression (MP4, MOV, AVI, MKV…)
• Conversion of HEIC/HEIF photos to JPG or PNG
• PDF document compression
• Other file processing tools, added regularly

Some tools work entirely in your browser (local processing). Others require server-side processing. Each tool specifies how it operates.

Using the basic tools does not require an account. An account is required to access advanced features or to subscribe to the Pro plan.

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• Information provided during registration must be accurate and up to date.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• Only one account per person is allowed.

By using AwesomeToolkit, you agree to:

• Use the service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms.
• Not attempt to circumvent the Free plan limits fraudulently.
• Not use automated systems (bots, scrapers) without written authorization.
• Respect the intellectual property rights of third parties.
• Not disrupt the operation of the service or servers.

It is strictly prohibited to use AwesomeToolkit to process files whose content:

• Is illegal, defamatory, obscene, violent, or contrary to public order.
• Constitutes an infringement of third-party copyright or intellectual property.
• Contains malware, viruses, or any harmful code.
• Is subject to a confidentiality obligation you cannot waive.
• Concerns sensitive personal data of third parties without their consent.

Breach of these prohibitions may result in immediate account suspension and, where applicable, legal proceedings.

You remain the sole owner of the files you process via AwesomeToolkit. By uploading a file, you grant us only the limited right to process it for the purpose of providing you the requested service.

• We claim no ownership rights over your files.
• Your files are never shared, sold, or transmitted to third parties.
• Uploaded files are automatically deleted within one hour of processing.
• You are solely responsible for the content of the files you process.
• You warrant that you hold the necessary rights to process these files.

Upon cancellation, the subscription remains active until the end of the already-paid current period. No pro-rata refund is issued after the withdrawal period.

We strive to keep the service available 24/7. However, interruptions may occur for:

• Scheduled maintenance (announced in advance when possible)
• Technical updates and security patches
• Technical incidents beyond our control

AwesomeToolkit does not guarantee uninterrupted access to the service and cannot be held liable for losses incurred during unavailability.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, AwesomeToolkit cannot be held liable for:

• Loss of data or files, even in the event of a technical failure.
• Indirect, intangible, or consequential damages related to use of the service.
• The quality or accuracy of files produced by the conversion tools.
• Damages resulting from use that does not comply with these Terms.

In any case, AwesomeToolkit's liability shall not exceed the amounts paid by the user in the 3 months preceding the dispute.

The AwesomeToolkit brand, the site, its design, source code, and all original content are protected by intellectual property law.

Any reproduction, even partial, is prohibited without prior written consent. Open-source libraries used are subject to their respective licenses (MIT, Apache, etc.) accessible in the source code.

You may delete your account at any time from your profile. Deletion results in the erasure of your personal data within 30 days.

AwesomeToolkit reserves the right to suspend or delete an account in the event of:

• Breach of these Terms
• Fraudulent behavior or attempts to circumvent service limits
• Non-payment of the Pro subscription
• Use of the service for illegal purposes

AwesomeToolkit reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. In the event of a material change, we will notify you by email at least 15 days before the new terms take effect.

Continued use of the service after notification constitutes acceptance of the new terms. The date of last update is shown at the top of this page.

These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute relating to their interpretation or performance will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of French courts.

In the event of a dispute, you may also use a certified consumer mediator free of charge within one year of your written complaint.
