URL Shortener

Paste a long link and get a short one that redirects straight to it — no ads, no page in between. Pick your own ending if you like, follow how many people click it, change where it goes later, pause it, sort your links into folders, and turn any of them into a QR code in one click.

A short link that stays yours

Why shorten a link

Long addresses break in emails, look messy in a post and are hard to type from a slide or a flyer. A short link is easy to read and to share, and because it goes through us, you can see how many people opened it and change its destination without sharing a new link.

A link you can change after sharing it

The short link stays the same, the destination is yours to edit: fix a typo, point an old campaign to a new page, or pause the link while a page is offline. Every new destination goes through the same safety checks as the first one.

Statistics without tracking people

Each click is counted, bots and link previews (messaging apps, social networks) excluded. Unique visitors are counted per day without cookies and without keeping any IP address: only totals are stored.

How it works

How to shorten a link

  1. Paste your long link

Copy the address from your browser and paste it in the field. A name and a custom ending are optional.

  2. Click Shorten

The destination is checked and your short link is created at once, in your free account.

  3. Copy and share it

Copy the short link, or make a QR code of it. Its clicks appear in My links.

Practical guides

Tips & guides

Choose a good ending

A custom ending (…/spring-sale) tells people where the link goes before they click, which makes them trust it more than a random one.

Keep it short and readable. Brand names of other companies and reserved words are refused, so nobody can make a link that pretends to be someone else.

Tip

Safe for the people who click

Destinations are checked when a link is created or changed, and checked again as a link gets popular: no other URL shortener, no IP address, no lookalike of a well-known brand.

Add a + at the end of any short link to see where it goes without opening it. Anyone can report an abusive link: it is reviewed and disabled.
