Everything about Google review QR codes

Why a QR code brings more Google reviews

Most satisfied customers would leave a review if it took no effort. Without a code they have to open Maps, search for your business, scroll to the reviews and find the button. With the code, one scan lands on the form with the stars: the customer only has to tap and write a line, while the experience is still fresh.

Which link the code holds

With a Place ID, the code holds the review link documented by Google: search.google.com/local/writereview?placeid=… A g.page/r/…/review link from your Business Profile is kept as it is. Only Google addresses are accepted, so a code made here can never send your customers anywhere else.

Make it look like your brand

Change the shape of the modules and the eyes, use your colors or a gradient, put your logo or a star in the center and add a frame with a call to action. Keep dark modules on a light background: the tool warns you when the contrast is too low to scan.

How it works

A Google review QR code in 3 steps

  1. Get your review link

In your Google Business Profile, choose “Ask for reviews” and copy the link — or find your Place ID with Google's Place ID Finder.

  2. Paste it and design the code

The code appears as you paste. Open the link once to check it, then add your colors, your logo and a frame such as “Leave us a review”.

  3. Download and print

PNG for screens and social posts, SVG or PDF for print at any size. Place it where customers wait: counter, receipt, table, invoice, packaging.

Tips & good practice

Ask at the right moment

Show the code when the customer is happiest: with the bill, at pickup, on the thank-you card in the parcel. A short line next to it (“1 minute, it helps us a lot”) does more than a big logo.

Ask every customer, not only the happy ones, and never offer a reward for a review: Google's review policy forbids both incentives and selective requests.

Pro tip

No account, no tracking

A static code is drawn in your browser: it holds Google's own link and works as long as your Business Profile exists, with or without us.

Choose dynamic (free account) only if you want to change the link after printing or count the scans.
