The QR code encodes a short awesometoolkit.com link that redirects to your URL. Change the destination anytime — even after printing — and track how many times it gets scanned. Dynamic codes follow our acceptable use rules; a misused code can be reported.

Dynamic QR codes require a free account — so you can edit the destination and see scan stats later.

A QR code that you can still change

Static or dynamic: the difference

A static QR code holds its content itself: once printed, it can never change. A dynamic QR code holds a short link of ours that redirects to your content: you change the destination in your account, and every code already printed follows. Change a menu, fix a typo in a URL, point a flyer to a new offer, without reprinting anything.

Scan statistics, without tracking people

Each scan is counted, bots and link previews excluded: scans and unique scanners over time, and with Pro the country, device, system and browser, the comparison with the previous period and a CSV export. No cookie is set and no IP address is kept.

Free, and it doesn't stop

A free account keeps 3 dynamic codes with no time limit, no watermark and no page in between: the code redirects straight to your content. Pro keeps up to 100. If you stop Pro, every code you created keeps working.

How it works

How to create a dynamic QR code

  1. Choose what the code opens

A website, a PDF, a menu, a contact card, a video and more: the dynamic mode is already on.

  2. Design it

Colours, shapes, a logo in the centre and a frame with a call to action.

  3. Generate and download

Sign in with a free account, generate the code and download it as PNG, SVG or PDF. Change its destination later in My QR codes.

Tips & guides

When to choose dynamic

Choose dynamic for anything printed in quantity or meant to last: packaging, posters, business cards, restaurant tables. A wrong link can be fixed without a reprint.

Keep static for a Wi-Fi network or a code that must work with no internet service behind it: its content is in the code itself.

Tip

Safe for the people who scan

Destinations are checked when a code is created or changed, and again as it gets popular: lookalikes of well-known brands, IP addresses and pages listed as dangerous are refused.

Anyone can report an abusive code; it is reviewed and disabled.
